What's with this Chetan Dude? And what's with his numbers?

Have you ever noticed that Chetan Bhagat's all previous novels started with an odd number- 5 point someone, 1 Night at the call center and 3 mistakes of my life???

now it is time for even numbers- 2 States-The Story of My Marriage(chetan's marriage).
Next will be 4 corners, 6 lessons, etc.

I am not a big fan of Chetan's books. 5 point someone was nice but not breathtakingly good. I think it's more of noise. I hate 1 night....I have not read a worse book. I have never wasted my time on anything worse......movies don't count.
Also, I have a question. except for 5 point...., where he tells you the tale of his days at IIT D, why in other two novels, people are desperate to tell him their stories? In 1 night....some pretty, young girl bumps into him on the train. Why is he so lucky?why not other guys. Traveling alone on an overnight train journey, all by himself in the compartment and to add, a very b'ful young lady appears and is so keen to tell a story to him.

In 3 mistakes..., Hari is killing himself, he has not even told his girlfriend about anything but he makes sure to inform Mr. Bhagat who lives in Singapore, about his to be demise. And Chetan like God, finds him in a big city like Ahmedabad and flies down!! Also, Hari tells him the story so that he could make a fool of the readers once again. If I had to commit suicide, why would I email Chetan?

Do you know Chatan Bhagat has left his high paying job at some Foreign bank and is a full-time writer now?
Seems like numbers are working out very well for him. ;)

Does anyone one know if he is in touch with the Jumaanis??
